At 8:59, AGD is AGD Productions. NOT AGD Amplification. Our mistake. While we're at it, go watch our review of AGD's Audion Mk III! ruclips.net/video/K0p6MUKSVo8/видео.html&ab_channel=THEABSOLUTESOUND
Very nice to meet you Tom, & thank you for taking the time to talk with me about bass problems & room acoustics, & yes, I have subscribed to the TAS Substack :)
Thanks Tom for the coverage. I was blown away with the big Borreson room. The holographic imaging and super-quick transients were tough to beat. It was tough to hear other systems after hearing that presentation. And Lars was a real hoot, explaining in great detail what goes into making such impressive sound.
I live 10 minutes from Washington DC and I found out about the Capital Audio Fest one day after it was over. Being busy has it's downside. I really would love to hear those MBL speakers, the look of them is otherworldly, as is the price. I suspect the sound is too.
Some really beautiful speakers and electronics on display but the "snake oil" products really should not be mentioned, it detracts credibility from everything else.
@Jason_Methfessel It's been awhile since I saw the video but I remember seeing certain cable related items that in no possible way can change the laws of physics to improve the sound.
@@Mike-jm5wt, sorry, I'm not entirely certain how components that interact with the electromagnetic field of another component circumvent the laws of physics. 🤷🏼 Rather, the laws of physics directly prove their effects. EMFs are quite easily manipulated.
@@Jason_Methfessel Your speaker cables don't care if they are sitting on wood or carbon fiber risers, this is pure snake oil and any EE will tell you this with mathematical proofs to back it up.

Really wanna check one of these damn things out someday. This year does seem quite exciting though!
Glad you mentioned the Bacch SP. Revolutionary

Thanks... full-filling rundown
Glad it was helpful!
@TheTASmagazine helpful? Except the sleeplessness it's bringing me: many toys to drool over even in my sleep 😂

Outstanding presentation... 🥃🍺👍🔈🔈🔈..... !
Nice concept to be able to build a modular speaker.
Great round up.. Thanks for the succinct yet somehow complete and fullsome coverage ❤
A CD drive is always a GOOD thing 💿💪🏼
Thanks for sharing.
nice video
Thanks for watching!
I don't think you can beat the Janszens for a complete system under $15k.
@@marcopignone9386 we love the Janszens. A great price point and a compelling design.
Excellent
"AB test of sorts"
"The scientist in me"
No, those two statements do not go with each other.
Audience was a stand out room, shame you missed it!
Sorry, my source preference is analogue.

Oh, did you have a chance to hear the 'snake oil'? What did you think?
